Walking in my house after a days work with the sun just coming up over the mountains makes me think of my future. Riding around in a car protecting people while they sleep peacefully. It’s an extract idea, really. Being unseen, unheard, thankless because by the time the opportunity has arrived, you’re already enjoying your true reward. It takes someone special to be able to get through a month, a year, two years, a lifetime with limited social interaction and no reward system except what is in place by yourself. Sleep is a reward. A luxury, one may say. Psychotic episodes really only come after 6-7 days without sleep. Your hallucinations usually kill you before then.
